POLARIZED VS. NON-POLARIZED SUNGLASSES.

At Jimmy Fairly, we offer both polarized and non-polarized sunglasses. But which is better for your eyes and vision?

We all love to bask in the sun, and we know it's important to protect our eyes from UV rays, but do polarized lenses make a significant difference?

WHICH TO CHOOSE?

The choice between polarized or non-polarized sunglasses largely depends on your daily activities. If you're often around water or spend long hours driving, polarized sunglasses will provide much more comfort as they counteract glare. However, if you plan to wear sunglasses for skiing and prefer not to use specialized ski goggles, non-polarized glasses are better for improved visibility of the terrain and spotting icy patches.

ADVANTAGES OF POLARIZED SUNGLASSES

Polarized sunglasses reduce eye strain, preserving your eyes. They enhance clarity, improving the quality of your vision. Polarized lenses eliminate reflections, making activities such as driving much safer by avoiding glare from reflected light.

ADVANTAGES OF NON-POLARIZED SUNGLASSES

Non-polarized sunglasses render white tones truer to their original color. For instance, pilots often avoid polarized glasses for this reason.

Reflections can sometimes be helpful; when driving on an icy road, you can spot icy patches more easily.

Watching screens while wearing polarized glasses may give the impression that the image is slightly washed out or, in some cases, completely dark, depending on the viewing angle.
