Our Antonin Chartier does not have the classic profile of an entrepreneur. After studying sport and psychology for a few years, he decided to become an entrepreneur. In November 2010, at the age of 23, he presented his concept at a start-up competition in Toulouse, alongside around thirty other participants. There he met Sacha Bostoni, with whom he became a partner "in less than twenty-four hours". Jimmy Fairly was born.
The idea is simple: to cut out as many intermediaries as possible, so that we can offer you a fair price. All our glasses are designed in our Studio in Paris. We choose the best materials and workshops around the world to the la manufacture of our frames. PThen, we check and assemble all our eyeglasses in our workshop in France.
Antonin & Sacha managed to find an investor who enabled them to start up their Internet business. In May 2011, Jimmy Fairly opened its first shop in a shopping district, rue Vieille-du-Temple in Paris. «"In a fortnight, we've done more business than our best month on the Internet. Glasses are a health product, and people need to try them on and be reassured."
Today Jimmy Fairly has ten international boutiques in the UK and Belgium. In January 2023, we will celebrate the opening of our 100th boutique and the 1 million pairs donated as part of our commitment to solidarity Buy One Give One.
