HOW TO CLEAN MY GLASSES?

It may seem simple, but a mistake can happen quickly! To keep your prescription glasses and sunglasses in good condition, discover our tips.

TO AVOID

Do not use your clothes: even if they are soft, most fabrics have tiny fibers that can cause permanent damage to your lenses.

Do not use saliva on your glasses: it's unhygienic and won't clean them properly.

Never use household cleaners: these products contain abrasive ingredients that can degrade your lens coatings.

Do not use paper tissues or toilet paper: some of them may contain wood pulp that can scratch your lenses.

TO PREFER

We recommend cleaning your glasses every morning to maintain their best appearance. Make sure your hands are clean before cleaning your glasses to avoid smudging the lenses.

Rinse your glasses under tap water to remove any dust buildup. Do not use hot water to avoid damaging the lens coatings.

Apply a small drop of hand soap to each lens. Use this instead of dish soap, which generally contains acidic components. Gently rub both sides of the lenses. Be sure to also clean the nose pads and the tips of the temples, as this is where grease, hair products, and makeup tend to accumulate.

Rinse the pair thoroughly. Gently dry the lenses and frame with a clean microfiber cloth.
