Visit us for an eye test
We recommend getting your eyes tested once a year. That’s why our Jimmy Fairly stores offer quick and holistic eye exams - including an eye health check and prescriptions for glasses.
Complimentary with purchase
Our eye tests are complimentary if a frame is purchased on the day of your test. Otherwise, they only cost £25 - redeemable if you purchase any pair during one year.
Our eye exams are quick, easy, yet comprehensive
Eye tests help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
In just 30 minutes, optometrists check in on your vision:
- Glasses prescription
- Eye health examination
- Dilation (whenever necessary)
- Treatment for eye diseases and disorders
- Screening for other general health issues
- Time to ask any eye care questions

Any question?
- Our eye tests are quick and easy. Our opticians will be there to guide you through the test, and will let you try on the correction in real-life conditions to guarantee your visual comfort. And if your correction changes, our opticians will adapt your prescription in the absence of contraindications from your ophthalmologist.
- Each eye test takes 30 minutes. The same amount of time as an episode from your favourite series - because we know how precious your time is!
We offer eye tests with or without purchase.
- If you already wear glasses, please bring them with you for us to take a look at on the day
- If you wear contacts, please remove them before your appointment: 30 min before for soft lenses, 12 hours if you are wearing hard lenses
- We only test if your prescription is less than +/-14 dioptre.
- We do not offer assistance in handling or adapting contact lenses.
- We don't test anyone under the age of 16.
- You've never seen an ophthalmologist in your life, or it's been a few years since you last saw one (more than 5 years if you're between 16 and 42 - more than 3 years if you're over 42).
